Marianne Williamson

Born in Houston, Texas, USA / July 8,1952 / Author, Activist, Speaker. Williamson is an internationally recognized spiritual leader, lecturer, activist and author. She has published ten books, four of which have gone on to become New York Times #1 best-sellers. Titles include A Return to Love, A Woman’s Worth and The Age of Miracles. A paragraph from A Return to Love, beginning “Our deepest fear is not that we are inadequate, Our deepest fear is that we are powerful beyond measure…”- is considered an anthem for a contemporary generation of seekers. Williamson bases her teaching and writing on a set of books called A Course in Miracles, a self-study program of spiritual psychotherapy, based on Universal spiritual themes. Williamson founded Project Angel Food, a meals-on-wheels program that today serves over 1,000 home-bound people a day, living with Aids and co-founded The Peace Alliance, a grassroots campaign supporting legislation to establish a United States Department of Peace.
